“A fantastic amount of money”: Chris works on a cruise ship and reveals how much he earns

Chris Wong works on a cruise ship and offers a behind-the-scenes look. He reveals how much money he earns and shares a glimpse into his tiny cabin in a video.
Chris Wong has been working in the casino of the Royal Caribbean cruise line since 2013. The Briton has now revealed his paycheck on YouTube. He earns $4,340.30 (approximately €3,766) a month.
This sum consists of a base salary and additional income such as tips. He earns "fantastic amounts of money," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.
"Given inflation and everything else, it's pretty difficult to earn that much in the UK right now." At the same time, he has many other advantages. For example, he doesn't have to pay rent and has no expenses for a car or house. His phone and internet costs are minimal. The cabin on the cruise ship where he lives and which he shows off on TikTok is also mini.
Despite all the benefits, Chris plans to end his work on the cruise ship soon. "I have officially announced that this will be my last contract as a crew member with Royal Caribbean," said Wong. After a long career with the company, it's now time to move on to the next phase of his life. "I'm excited and curious about what the future holds."
